People exceptionally talented in the Strategic theme create alternative ways to proceed. Faced with any given scenario, they can quickly spot the relevant patters and issues.

People exceptionally talented in the Achiever theme work hard and possess a great deal of stamina. They take immense satisfaction in being busy and productive.

People exceptionally talented in the Belief theme have certain core values that are unchanging. Out of these values emerges a defined purpose of their lives.

People exceptionally talented in the Activator theme can make things happen by turning thoughts into action. They want to do things now, rather than simply talk about them.

People exceptionally talented in the Significance theme want to make a big impact. They are independent and prioritize projects based on how much influence they will have on their organization or people around them.

Accomplishments

  • I cut 90% of tickets for an organization by making things obvious.
  • Always lead UX research to uncover real user problems, guide product strategy in ambiguous spaces, and drive impactful decisions.
  • Bridged course development and approval process gap for a university by designing a transparent, functional workflow integrating two separate tools with custom connections; reduced silos, shortened approvals (from months to weeks), and improved stakeholder satisfaction through user-centered mapping and iterative refinement.
  • Designed HOA Insights template website for a major IT company to sell to HOA clients; solved key pain points like board turnover chaos, knowledge loss, and lack of transparency by creating a customizable, responsive community hub/resident portal with centralized secure access to documents, finances, tickets, calendars, and vendor reviews—resulting in easier data inheritance, trust-building, and “few-click” usability.
  • Designed and automated outcomes assessment tracking system in Canvas LMS for School of Business & Management; created user-friendly templates, guides, videos, and methods at account/subaccount levels, streamlined workflows, eliminated manual processes, reduced third-party tool costs by thousands, and enabled university-wide rollout across all departments.
  • Developed personalized, adaptive user experiences through iterative design, data-driven personalization, and ethical frameworks, enhancing engagement and retention for diverse global learners via a university
  • Led mixed-methods UX research (user interviews, usability testing, journey mapping) for global platform serving 20,000+ users, uncovering key pain points that informed redesign and improved user satisfaction by 25%.
  • Completed professional training on AI in Academia including Artificial Intelligence (AI), AI Prompt Engineering, AI for Content Development, AI Image Generation, AI Research Tools, and AI for Higher Education.
  • Led a team of 100 remote faculty, 10 lead faculty, and 4 instructional designers.
  • Conducted ongoing user research and usability testing to optimize onboarding, navigation, and content delivery, resulting in streamlined interactions and higher satisfaction metrics.
  • Led cross-functional teams in agile UX development cycles, incorporating user feedback loops and heuristic evaluations to iterate on interfaces and reduce friction.
  • Designed and prototyped 1000+ interactive, accessible digital experiences (using tools like Articulate, Adobe Captivate, H5P, Camtasia) focused on user journeys, micro-interactions, gamification, and WCAG-compliant usability.
  • Hosted and facilitated user-focused webinars on pedagogy, accessibility, gamification, useer experience, and tool usability to gather insights and drive iterative improvements in digital products.
  • Conceptualized and deployed scalable training resources for 2,000+ instructors/designers, emphasizing user-centered pedagogy, technology integration, and experience optimization.
  • Developed 100+ responsive, accessible websites and digital resources optimized for user navigation, content hierarchy, media integration, accessibility (WCAG), and performance.
  • Streamlined institutional user experience processes (course revision, templates, quality assurance, engagement) using outcomes research, usability analytics, and iterative design to reduce barriers and improve satisfaction.

The beauty of UX is it prioritizes action over perfection to prototype fast, test with users, iterate based on what breaks, the learn from outcomes. I map pain points, simplify interfaces, measure success by behavior change. What’s important? Here are a few pedagogical underpinnings of UX and how I operate:

Don Norman’s Design Principles. Focus on affordances (does the button look clickable?), feedback (does it feel right when I click?), and mapping (does up mean forward?).

Hick’s Law. More choices = slower decisions.

Fitts’s Law. Bigger targets closer to the finger are easier.

Cognitive Load Theory. Don’t overload brains. You made plain-language guides—perfect.
